What is EAC (Equine Assisted Coaching)

Equine Assisted Coaching is a modality that involves activities such as grooming, haltering, leading, observing a horse or horses while engaging with a coach. It promotes physical and emotional growth and can offer trans-formative results for persons suffering from anxiety and depression. Clients can take Wisdom from the Herd and apply this to their everyday life. Horses live in the present moment and allow us to do the same in their presence.

Magic behind the Science

This is where science meets spirituality! What we are dealing with is Heart Energy. Horses help humans heal and there are physiological reasons for this. The heart gives off 60 times more electromagnetic energy than the brain. The heart has over 40,000 sensory neurons that learn, think, feel, and remember. The heart is giving more information to the brain, than the brain is to the heart. Since a horse’s heart is the size of a football, their energy field is much larger than ours and stronger. When the horse and human biofield converge the horse picks up the frequency’s coming from the human heart. Humans heart rate is anywhere between 60-80 beats per minute. Horses heart rate is anywhere between 40-60 beats per minute. When we get into their energy field it co-regulates ours, bringing our heart rate and blood pressure down.

Who Serenity Stables Serves

  • Substance Use Disorders. As a peer recovery coach, I am credentialed to work with individuals with SUD. People struggling with addiction need to learn skills to help achieve and maintain sobriety. I focus on their connection, purpose, and self-empowerment. (Groups or Individual sessions)

  • Adolescents. As a mother of an adolescent, I developed an Equine Youth Inner Development Program in the summer of 2022. I was able to help these children use their inner guidance system, looking in to connect them to their bodies. Something that our education system is lacking. This program includes experiential equine activities, guided mediations, journaling, and alternating Certified Trauma Informed Yoga/Tai-Chi Instructors. The program runs in 4-week cycles. Limited to a small group of 6. This is for boys and girls ages 12-15. Email or call directly to sign up.  I also work with adolescents on an individual basis. Please email or text for more information.

Team Building Sessions

Join us for a unique and dynamic team-building experience with equine-assisted activities! Designed to foster trust, communication, and collaboration, these sessions provide a refreshing break from the ordinary. Through guided interactions with horses, participants will learn key insights about themselves and their team in a relaxed, natural setting.

Our sessions will guide your team through activities such as leading, grooming, and non-verbal communication exercises. Horses, with their keen sensitivity to human emotions, offer immediate and honest feedback, making this an impactful way to build stronger relationships and improve problem-solving skills.

Whether you’re looking to boost morale, enhance communication, or simply enjoy a memorable experience together, equine-assisted team building offers powerful lessons in leadership and unity.
